Here at Berrico we are supplying products from 17 countries and many more producers, with their own rotating updates on COVID. Below, we would like to point out key points on the continuation of our supply chain.
We are taking all the necessary measures to keep our company operating. Most of our staff works now from home equipped with laptops and telephones that can log in to our vital software systems. They can be reached like normal. We are in close contact with all our suppliers, including warehousing, sea freight and forwarding companies. We applaud everyone’s effort in setting up new protocols to secure the health of its employees and continuation of the production.
Berrico aims to supply all contracts according to the planning communicated. Currently, there have been no large delays on deliveries due to the COVID situation. However, we expect deliveries from and to countries that are in lockdown will be challenging.
In a change of events, we will notify you personally if it concerns a specific delivery and discuss the planning accordingly. Our logistics team will verify each delivery with you to check if you are able to accept goods on your or your warehouse premises. Moreover, seasonality of our products require up to date information (demand and scheduling) and we will check with you personally your needs for the coming months or for some items the rest of the year, to make sure your needs are covered. We urge you to communicate any changes from your side with us.
