Despite a very cold winter that extended beyond its normal period, the cranberry plants are in good shape. Last year the plants didn’t carry a lot of fruit. The low production did not overload the plants. Therefore, the plants had energy to stimulate the growth of the flower buds. This healthy growth makes us really happy. The plants will bloom towards the end of June, after which pollination can take place.
Also, for the blueberries all looks well. The buds are swelling and pollination will take place in early June. We expect ample fruit.
